About Thomas Batterman

Thomas Batterman is the Founding Organizer of Financial Fiduciaries, LLC. Designed to represent the best financial interests of his clients, Thomas helps provide objective, fee-only management services to people looking for help with their current and future financial state. Born out of the realization that many clients only wanted the fiduciary approach from an advisor to help them with their financial affairs, Thomas knew rethinking the structure used for providing trustee services while simultaneously providing fiduciary guidance to those clients who do not require a trustee was important.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Sociology and Mathematics, Thomas later went on to study Business, Tax, and Estate Planning Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor. Throughout Thomas’ career, he has held Series 7, 24 and 65 securities licenses. He is also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

Upon graduation, Thomas Batterman went on to work in a private law practice in the areas of estate planning, tax, retirement planning, corporate organizations, and real estate. From there, he pursued a deeper calling and eventually ended up at a local trust company, which ultimately resulted in his now successful career as a financial fiduciary and finance entrepreneur.

Thomas founded Financial Fiduciaries, LLC, as an outgrowth of Vigil Trust & Financial Advocacy as a resource for individuals and mutual insurance companies. As one of the rare subsets of financial advisors known as ‘fee-only fiduciaries,’ Thomas Batterman does not sell any investment products. Both he and the team at Financial Fiduciaries, LLC are not compromised by conflicts of interest that plague non-fee only fiduciary advisors.
